<b>1905 ca - 1914 > Fontaine-l’Evêque</b> Victor Bernard, ° 12.3.1885; + 9.6.1946. Manufacturer of pigeon baskets. Became a photographer about 1905 and installed a studio in 1912. Also "V. Baugniet - Sohier, Leernes", Leernes being a village adjoining Fontaine-l'Evêque. He subsequently had branch studios in Houdeng, La Louvière, and Thuin, operated in conjunction with family members, most likely his younger brother Arthur (° Leernes, 22.5.1898) in La Louvière. Victor Baugniet was operating at Rue Benoît Fauconnier in the interwar years.
