Artist, painter and photographer. Moved to this address in July 1872 but may not have practised photography until later in the 1870s, since his first appearance in the directory dates to 1878. On letterhead dated 1879, "Studio for photography, contractor for painting, gilding and decorating". His wife was a seamstress who ran a clothes shop at the same address. President of the "Gilde Saint-Luc", an association of artists, 1893-1912.
