Like the "Panorama International" (see that name), this was a large mobile stereoscopic apparatus under the same management. Advertising here from October to December; director: Mr Witter. (L'Echo d'Ostende, 30.11.1890). Simply refered to as the "Cosmorama" in Ostend. Series on display included "Algeria", "Savoie", "the Pyrenees", "the Paris Universal Exhibition", "Japan and China", Castles of King Louis II of Bavaria and Munich", "North America", "Egypt" and "Italy".
1891 * Ostende, Rue de Flandre, 8 (Grand Hôtel Léopold II)
Opening announced for 4.10.1891 with views of Spain. "We recall the great success achieved last year by the "Cosmorama" at the Hôtel de Vienne. We are pleased to learn that it is returning to us with a large collection of new views, never exhibited before in Ostend (L'Echo d'Ostende, 4.10.1891).
1892 */ Bruges, Place de la Monnaie (L'Aigle d'Or)
Still being managed by Otto Witter (Burgerwelzijn, 20.6.1892). Opening announced for the evening of 1.6.1892; the first series on display consisted of views of Switzerland (Gazette van Brugge, 1.6.1892). "[The Cosmorama Photoplastique] will allow you to travel around the world, this journey is most convenient: you only have to sit down and apply your eyes to a gigantic stereoscope where 25 spectators can take their places comfortably and admire the wonders of this world" (La Patrie, 2.6.1892). By the end of July, it was announced that the Cosmorama would be leaving Bruges. The final two series that would be shown were "Castles of the king of Bavaria" and "Spain", including Barcelona, Seville and bullfighting (Burgerwelzijn, 23.7.1892).
</biogHist>
