<b>1890 - 1891 / Bruxelles, Montagne aux Herbes Potagères, 9</b> Victor Jean François, ° 26.2.1856. Recorded as an architect in the Brussels population register in 1888. Cremers moved here on 17.11.1890 and left for Jardin des Alexines, 8 in June 1891. Director of the enlargement studio in Louis Van Neck's branch at this address (Hélios Illustré, 1.11.1890). He was officially domiciled in Ostend. In November 1891 it was reported that a committee had been formed in Brussels for the establishment of a "Camera Club" similar to the ones active in other big European cities. The aim of this club was to provide its members with a studio for artistic photography, enlargements and projections as well as state of the art laboratories and a library with all photographic and artistic publications. Furthermore the club would have room for the exhibition of amateur photography and "all the comfort that photography enthusiasts of both sexes could desire". Cremers' name was given as the contact for anyone wishing to register or acquire more information (Hélios Illustré, 15.11.1890).
