At his wedding in Brussels - Laeken on 24.12.1904, recorded as a collotypist living in Laeken. An unverified source records a partnership "Dohmen & Laurent" in Brussels in 1913. Dohmen went on to become a prolific printer-publisher of picture postcards in the interwar period, especially of Brussels and coastal resorts, under the trade name "Albert". At the time of his death, recorded as an industrialist living at no. 24 of the same street.
