<b>1874 ca Verviers</b> Jules David, 54 Rue Gravel, Levallois (Paris) and Claude Bretagne (see that name), specialising in photography of school groups, were in partnership from 1873 to 1876 under the trade name "Photographie des Ecoles". David was married in Louvain on 8.10.1874 under his full name Jules David Cavaz (° Pinsot [Isère, F], 16.4.1848; + Levallois-Perret [Hauts-de-Seine, F], 8.10.1923), and declared himself to be a photographer resident in Levallois-Perret [Hauts-de-Seine, F].
