      <biogHist><p>&lt;b&gt;1906 - 1914 &gt; Bruxelles&lt;/b&gt;
° 23.10.1877; + 16.1.1955. Architect. In March 1906, it was reported in the "Bulletin des Musées Royaux des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels" that Dhuicque had donated a series of platinum prints of buildings by architect Henri (or Hendrik) Beyaert destined for a "Museum of Architecture" in formation. The series contained views of the National Bank and Bornem Castle and was executed by Dhuicque himself. In 1915 he was charged by the Belgian government to lead a mission documenting and safeguarding Belgium's architectural patrimony. The operation would become known as the "Mission Dhuicque" and photography would play a vital role in it. Autochromes from this undertaking are in the holdings of the Museum of Photography in Antwerp. The Royal Institute for Cultural Heritage (KIK-IRPA) in Brussels has on deposit a collection of 890 glass negatives from the "Mission Dhuicque", owned by the Flemish Region.</p></biogHist>
