<b>1912 São Tomé</b> Paul Henri Joseph Ghislain, ° 15.10.1873; + 22.7.1933. Agricultural engineer and deputy director of the Agricultural Department in Boma [Congo]. He was sent on a survey mission to the coffee-growing island of São Tomé in the context of the Congo's economic development. His report was published in the "Bulletin Agricole du Congo Belge" later in 1912, illustrated with photographs he had taken and collected. At his death, Drousie was chief administrator of the Mainbika plantation. The Photography Museum in Antwerp owns glass-plate negatives by Drousie as part of the "Union Coloniale Belge" collection.
