Manufacture of instruments and machines for electricity as well as mechanics, optics and photography. The firm was headed by Paul "Sigmund" Dührenheimer (° Heidelberg [D], c. 1872). In 1903, Dührenheimer was domiciled in Brussels - Forest and co-founded a similar firm, dealing in electrical supplies, headquartered in Liège, Rue du Pot-d'Or, 43. His co-founders were Albert Lapière (see that name) and Joseph Beels, an engineer-electrician domiciled in Brussels - Cureghem. Dührenheimer would later emigrate to the United States and probably died on 16.3.1952 in Islip [New York, USA].</p></biogHist>
