Landscape "L'Outhe à Sy", signed and dated 1904. Seventh prize (30 francs) winner in the Gevaert International competition 1911-1912. He exhibited autochromes at the ABP's 25th annual slide show in Liège in April 1913. Founding member of the "Photo-Club liégeois" and still a member in 1926. Still a member of the ABP in 1922. Turned professional by 1913 and was manager of Louis Max's studio "Photo Max" in 1920-1921. Still active during the interwar years, both as a professional and as a salon exhibitor. Founding member and elected vice-president of the Liège section of the "Union des Photographes Professionnels de Belgique", 1931.
