<b>1905 ca Bruges</b> ° 22.7.1878; + 11.8.1964. Painter of portraits and of popular Bruges characters. An engraver, his graphic work was similar to that of Jules De Bruycker. Pupil at the academies of Bruges and Brussels. He built a camera in his youth. Member of the "Cercle Photographique de Bruges" and of the "Cercle artistique ‘Kunstgenegen’". Only a few of his photographs survive, since unfortunately he destroyed a large number of negatives.
