1870 - 1895 Lessines Louis Joseph, ° 19.11.1827; + 11.10.1903. Sometimes transcribed "Frezin"; also "Frézus" in the directories. Recorded as a painter living in Brussels - Saint-Josse in October 1858. Profession of painter still declared in 1866 and 1873. An article in the "Courrier the L'Escaut" from 19.3.1870 mentions him as a painter, photographer and architect in Lessines. However, a single CV indicates that Frézin may have already been operating in Lessines as early as the mid 1860s. His death certificate gave his profession as drawing master.
