<biogHist>
1898 Anvers
Paul Daniel, ° 8.2.1868; + 6.1.1934. Originally a commercial traveller. Around 1888, he visited Mol and took photographs ink-stamped "Paul Heheman / Crefeld / Amateur Photograph". Initially recorded in the Antwerp foreigners register in November 1893 as a clerk coming from Crefeld. The first mention in the file of Hehemann being a professional photographer is dated 5.5.1900, but since Hehemann moved to Quai Sainte-Aldegonde, 14 in November 1894 and to Rue des Tanneurs, 35 in April 1896, it can be safely assumed that he had been operating for Verbeeck Frères (see that entry) at those addresses. Member of the "Cercle d'études photographiques et scientifiques d'Anvers" in 1898.
1901 * - 1904 / Puers, Keulenstraat
Married Maria Theresia Mees (° Hingene, 1874; ° Hamburg [D], 1913) in Hamburg [D] on 2.10.1900. Arrived in Puers in the summer of 1901. Advertised as representative of the postcards manufacturer L. Stottmeister & Co., Braunschweig [D]. Picture postcards in halftone of D'Ursel Castle and surrounding region. Left for Crefeld [D] on 4.11.1904. Subsequently reverted to being a commercial traveller in Hamburg.
</biogHist>
