Already recorded as a photographer living with his parents at the occasion of his wedding to "Georgette" Clementina De Rudder (° Ghent, 15.10.1870) in Ghent - Sint-Amandsberg on 10.10.1894. He subsequently moved to Schoolstraat, 86 on 7.5.1895. "Jacobs, J." in the 1899 Ghent directory. According to "Fotografie te Gent", he began operating in 1898. <b>1900 - 1920 > Gand, Rue de Courtrai, 20<00-11> or 12<12-20></b> On CV, "Several diplomas and medals". Still operating at no. 12 in the 1920s.
