"For the new year, Monsieur Jenicot - Daras will make portraits for 6 francs a dozen from negatives kept for two years" (Journal de Charleroi, 10.12.1865). <b>1874 ca - 1900 / Châtelet, Rue du Collège, 23</b> Street address listed in directories until 1895; thereafter erroneously listed as "J. Génicot". The studio must have been operating until it was put up for sale, no street address indicated: "Studio Jenicot for sale on 1st September. Apply by end of July" (Le Patriote, 23.6.1900).
