Joseph Pascal, ° 5.9.1868. Photography, photogravure and relief halftone. "&amp; Cie" at this address. "Establishment founded in 1842." Joseph was described as an engraver aged 31 living in Brussels in May 1899 and as a printer, engraver and draughtsman in the population register. Arrived at this address on 18.5.1895 and left for Brussels - Saint-Gilles on 4.12.1899. Operations were continued by Emile Malvaux who arrived from Herve on 13.9.1899. He was described as a master photoengraver in the population register. At his wedding in Brussels on 4.9.1901, Emile Joseph Renier Nicolas Malvaux (° Herve, 18.1.1877) was recorded as an engraver-draughtsman living in Brussels - Anderlecht. He had in fact left this address for Brussels - Anderlecht on 12.7.1901 though the firm continued to be listed in the 1902 directory.

Arrived here on 28.9.1906. Although Joseph Malvaux was registered successively at 11 addresses in the centre of Brussels between 1900 and 1910, this is the only one listed professionally in the trade directory, in conjunction with the studio in Rue de Flandres, and that for the single year of 1908. Left for Rue Grétry, 21 on 28.10.1909.
