<b>1888 - 1901 Liège</b> Medical doctor, former director of the eye clinic in Louvain in 1877, professor of physiology in Ghent in 1880, then professor at the University of Liège in 1885. He was particularly interested in photography for professional reasons and gave talks on optics, the retinal image and the physiology of colours. President of the Liège section of the ABP in 1888-1889.
