First pupil, then assistant in the Engineering Corps in 1894. Enthousiastic member of the Namur section of the ABP (talks, articles). Landscapes and lively scenes. Slide presentation at the "Exposition de Sites et des Monuments de Namur", 1897. The "Bulletin de l'ABP" published several of his articles: "Stripping negatives", 1898; "On viewfinders used in photography", 1899; "Gelatine-bromide and collodion", 1900; "On the influence of aperture on the sharpness of photographic images", 1902.
