Still advertising as a painter and paint seller in March 1880. Reported to have received instruction in photography in Antwerp and Brussels. Studio opening announced in December 1889. One of Sledsens’ advertisements in October 1899 mentions that Jules Vandenschrieck’s firm (see that name) was his supplier (Nieuwsblad van Gheel, 7.10.1899). <b>1900 * - 1904 Gheel, Pas, 9<04></b> Move to this address announced for October 1900. Advertised just as a painter rather than as a painter and photographer after 1904.
