Either Jean Baptiste (° Antwerp - Berchem, 6.11.1844) or his second son Jean Charles Emmanuel (° Antwerp, 22.11.1871). At his wedding in Brussels - Schaerbeek on 31.8.1895, Jean Charles Emmanuel was recorded as a photographer domiciled at this address, previously in Ypres. He signed with the initial "C" or "E" whereas his father, described as a photographer domiciled in Brussels - Schaerbeek, used the initials "JB". At his own wedding in Antwerp on 4.3.1875, Jean Baptiste was recorded as a photographer domiciled in Antwerp - Berchem.
"Tibackx, F." in the directories from 1891 to 1896. This may possibly refer to a third son, Felix Jean (° Antwerp, 7.7.1875), recorded as a labouring (house) painter domiciled in Brussels - Schaerbeek at his wedding in Brussels - Saint-Josse on 5.3.1898 (and who signed with an "F"). On the same occasion, the father was still described as a photographer domiciled in Brussels - Schaerbeek.
1890 ca Bruxelles - Schaerbeek, Rue Teniers, 12
CV ink-stamped “Special studio for retouching, enlargements and copying carbon photographs of all types”.
