Alfred Julien Joseph Alexandre, ° 4.3.1871; + 5.2.1935. Already recorded as a photographer domiciled in Andrimont at the occasion of his wedding in Dison on 14.5.1895. Subsequently recorded as a photographer living at this address (no. 79) at the birth of a child in Verviers in August 1897. Left again for Andrimont in 1898. Travers was then recorded as a commercial traveller living in Marche-en-Famenne in September 1902 and June 1905 at the birth of his children there. He was then recorded as a draughtsman living in Rochefort in November 1911. Travers eventually reverted to photography and operated in Rochefort, Rue d’Éprave, 11 in the interwar period. On his son's marriage certificate in Liège in September 1920, Joseph Travers was recorded as a photographer domiciled in Rochefort. Still recorded as a photographer there on his death certificate.</p></biogHist>
