The foreigners register records him at Zakstraat, 27, then Rue de la Chaussée, 11 and Sous la Tour, 5. CV with "Rue de la Chaussée, 11" crossed out and "Sous la Tour, 5" added in manuscript. <b>1861 - 1865 ca Malines, Sous la Tour, 5</b> Successor: Scheffermeyer Alphonse H.E. Took some topographical views of Malines. Van Nieuwland was still recorded as a photographer in Mechelen in August 1872. His death certificate records him as a photographer living in Namur at Rue Saint Jacques, 22.
