° 30.10.1820; + 3.1.1904. Daguerreotypist.
1855 ca Bruxelles, Rue de l'Ecuyer, 10
"Daguerreotype portraits"; initial "H." on business card.
1857 Bruxelles, Place Saint-Géry, 8
Photographer and daguerreotypist.
1859 / Bruxelles, Rue Neuve, 70
Probably at this address by 1857. Then Rue du Pont Neuf, 39, from 19.11.1859 until 22.4.1865 (but in Ostend from 2.12.1862 until 8.5.1863). Undoubtedly an operator in an unspecified Brussels studio since he is still recorded as a photographer in Brussels in October 1866. Subsequently, various private addresses. In the 1880 population registry, photographer is overwritten with "of no occupation". He was once again a journeyman photographer in 1890.
</biogHist>
