Jean Baptiste Verhaegen and his son Emile (see those names). Cabinet makers, camera makers and suppliers of accessories for photography. A camera in the collections of the "Museum voor Wetenschappen" at the University of Ghent carries a maker's mark of this partnership. Jean Baptiste was recorded as living in this street at the wedding of his daughter in Ghent on 20.8.1890. At his later wedding in Ghent on 18.8.1897, Jean Baptiste was recorded as a cabinet maker residing in Ghent, Place van Duyse. His death certificate, countersigned by his son Emile, recorded his occupation as cabinet maker.</p></biogHist>
