1865 - 1871 / Gand, Rue d'Assaut, 22 Constant Casimir Wante (see separate entry) in partnership, possibly with a certain Angelus Vandenabeele (° ?, 14.2.1831; + Ghent, 8.3.1878), resident in Ghent. The partnership announced publication of a series of half-plate prints "Châteaux et maisons de campagne des Flandres" in 1869 with text by F. De Potter and Brouchart; none have been located. 1871 * - 1872 / Gand, Rue Haute, 64 Successor: Wante Constant Transfer to this address announced for September 1871. On CV, "The studio has been built on ground level in a garden of such expanse that it is possible to photograph horses & carriages, as well as the largest groups." The last mention of Vandenabeele in partnership at this address is an advertisement in "Le Bien Public" of 27.9.1872. However, the partnership was still listed at this address in the Ghent directory until 1885.
