Charles Victor Auguste, ° 17.2.1838; + 24.4.1907. Chemist. Arrived from Paris on 10.9.1870 where he was a partner of Geymet (see Geymet & Alker). Collotypes, photolithographs. Published a plan for the restoration and preservation of the ‘Colonne du Congrès’ in 1877. Business partner of Idesbald Chotteau at this address from 1874 until 1879. Founder member of the ABP.

Supplies for photographers. At this address from 11.9.1879 until 3.2.1881. In the 1880s he was registered as an office clerk; in 1890 as an electrician. Founder member of the "Société belge des électriciens" in 1884.

Electroplated bronze of a lion on the Waterloo monument in the Brussels cemetery, 1890. Married in Brussels on 14.12.1896 when he was described as an electrical engineer.
