Louis Georges Victor, ° 15.6.1836. Engraver of arms. On CV, "artist-painter and photographer" then "artist-painter and patented photographer". Opening at this address on 2.8.1862. Advertisements from 1862 to 1864 still offering to make daguerreotypes but it is possible that this meant copying daguerreotypes onto paper. Patent of 15.5.1864 for "a method for producing dissolving backgrounds on photographic images". Partner of Veuve Delaveux from July 1862 until February 1863. Recorded as a photographer living on this street at no. 40 in July 1867. Sold his studio to Berchmans in September 1867.
