Jean Baptiste Louis Nicolas, ° 14.4.1866. Father of Jean Corneille and Hubert Corneille Artiges (see those names). His piece on "art in photography" was published in the "Bulletin du Cercle L'Effort", 1901-1902, pp. 17-18. Subsequently his photograph of the Mullerthal in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg was published in an edition of the "Bulletin officiel mensuel de la Ligue Vélocipédique Belge" in 1910. He participated in the club's photography competition in 1911-1912 and won third prize in the first category in 1912, as well as a special price for his stereos. He also won first prize in a competition organized by Kodak for the members of the "Ligue Vélocipédique Belge" in 1912.
