Arthur Joseph Marie, ° 21.9.1873; + 16.8.1960. Lithographer. His photographs titled "Hoekjes van Brugge" [Corners of Bruges] were published in the periodical "Licht" in November 1902. Prizewinner in photography competition organised by the "Liefhebbers Fotografenkring van Berchem" in October 1905 ("Arth. Bayens"). Member of the "Liefhebbers Fotografenkring van Berchem" from 1905 at the latest; technical director in 1908. Member of the “Cercle d’études photographiques et scientifiques d’Anvers” in 1905.
