François Pierre Joseph, ° 10.2.1879; + 5.9.1950. At his wedding in Malines on 29.11.1902, recorded as a photographer domiciled in Brussels - Ixelles, Rue Wayenberg, 85. Batens had links to Mol which he visited as an itinerant on at least three occasions, the first time in May 1905 ("Baetens"). Thereafter Batens' pupil Jules Havermans (see that name) in Mol reported Batens' impending arrival there on 2.5.1908 and again, coming from Brussels, on 26.3.1911. Operated at no. 264 in 1916.
