"Any photographic work. 20 medals in exhibitions and competitions" (Mertons directory, 1910-1914). At this address supplies for photography and collotype. Co-founder and first vice-president of the "Union des Photographes Professionnels de Belgique" in 1911 and assessor of the "Fédération Nationale des Photographes Professionels de Belgique" in 1913.
Béguin went on to publish postcards of Namur landmarks destroyed in 1914. Advertised in October 1919 that he had reinstalled himself at this address (Vers L'Avenir, 14.10.1919). In 1921 he established himself in Louvain and acquired Prosper Morren‘s studio. Remained active throughout the interwar period. Again listed as a member of the ABP in 1922. Still in Louvain in 1944, Béguin sold a collection of over 200 prints of Namur and its region to the "Service de la documentation belge des Musées royaux d'Art et d'Histoire", now kept in the Royal Institute for Cultural Heritage (KIK-IRPA), Brussels.
