Victor Benoît Ferdinand, ° 11.11.1868. Moved to Antwerp, where he was recorded as a commercial traveller in the population register at Chaussée de Malines, 26 from 9.9.1893 to 15.9.1893 and then at Rue de la Commune, 55. Returned to Ghent on 13.3.1894.

Arrived here, coming from Ghent, on 5.8.1895 and presumably worked for the supply house of Ernest Peters at this address. At his wedding in Brussels - Etterbeek on 26.2.1896, Benner was recorded as a photographer. Left for Brussels - Ixelles on 12.3.1896 and subsequently moved to Brussels - Saint-Josse, back to Brussels and then to Brussels - Laeken in the period 1897 to 1899 when he may have been a journeyman photographer. In the 1930s Benner traded as "Photo Hall (Victor Benner)" in Brussels - Uccle, Chaussée de Waterloo, 756 and advertised "firm founded in 1892".
