In June 1902 it was reported that Berger was chosen by Héliodore Dandoy as his successor and that his back catalogue of negatives would be transferred to Berger (La Meuse, 24.6.1902). Commissioner of the "Association des Photographes et Marchands de Produits Photographiques", 1904. A certain Berger from Liège won fifth prize in a photography competition organised by "Liège-Attractions" in July 1904. Berger’s successor was already advertising at this address in January 1911. Domiciled in Paris [F], Rue de l'Aqueduc, 42 according to his death certificate.
