David known as Joseph, ° 22.2.1828. First announcement as a photographer traced at this address ("J. Blok") on 10.3.1866. The "Journal de l'Imprimerie" credits several "portrait-cards" of a devotional nature to "D. Blok", Saint-Trond in 1867. Brief partnership with a certain Franciscus Hoebanx, announcing a move from Diestersche Poort to Nieuwe Steenweg on 15.3.1869. Married Anne Marie Roggen in Saint-Trond in 1873 and within a few years was brewing beer vinegar and liquor under the name of J. Blok - Roggen. Final announcement as a photographer located to January 1876.
