Napoléon Joseph, known as Léon, ° 23.3.1867. No first name from 1903 until 1906, then "L." on CVs. Artist and painter, about 1906 to 1908. Backmark at no. 21, c. 1910, "L. Bodeau. Group portraits and enlargements. Framing. Same firm, G. Bodeau fils"; this was his son Georges Antoine Bodeau (° Huy, 14.5.1890). The Bodeaus specialized in miniature portraits in a formal frame. Also note that Léon's daughter "Alice" Josephine Lambertine Bodeau (° Huy, 30.8.1884) was recorded as a journeyman photographer living with her parents at the occasion of her wedding in Huy on 26.10.1912. In the interwar years, L. Bodeau - Jonet operated at no. 15.

Initially coexisted with Porte des Aveugles, 15; initial "L." on CV bearing both addresses, the same initial as listed in the 1913 directory. Subsequently, around the period of World War I, "G. Bodeau fils" alone at this address.
