° 7.12.1862; + August 1934. CAB, interior of Sint-Jacobskerk in Antwerp, bearing gilt-stamped credit "Jacques Bol Anvers". Member of the photography section of the "Katholieke Kring" in 1896-1901. Bol was a partner with Lambert Respen (see that name) in an optical and electrical supplies business at Rue Porte Saint-Georges, 7 in 1894-1895 and where Respen traded alone in 1896. Bol was subsequently active as an optician-electrician in Antwerp at Rue Saint-Jacques, 21 from 1911 onwards where he styled himself "Supplier to the Société d'Astronomie".
