° 27.9.1861; + 20.12.1952. French professional photographer (studio at 35, Boulevard des Capucines in Paris), known for his photo-reportages, touring Belgium. He took views of the Han caves in artificial light, which were for sale at the exit of the caves. He was probably promoting or at least demonstrating a magnesium flash-lamp of his own invention. He had a poster designed by his brother-in-law Privat Livemont (see that name) in 1898, which was probably never published.
