Michaël Emilianus Alphonsus Richardus, ° 24.12.1868; + 24.8.1932. Founder member of the "Cercle d'études photographiques et scientifiques d'Anvers". Often transcribed "Braeckmans", but his signature, birth certificate and a 1913 CEPSA address book read "Braekmans". Awarded joint 10th prize for views of the 1894 Universal Exhibition, Antwerp in the photography competition run by the exhibition’s organisers.
