Matthieu Joseph Guillaume, ° 26.2.1855; + December 1929. Husband of Thérèse Olbertz. Recorded as a shoemaker living in this street at the birth of his children in February 1881, January 1884 and May 1886. Subsequently recorded as a shoemaker and photographer at the birth of a daughter in June 1890. From about 1908, suffix "Pere & Fils" or "et ses fils". This roughly coincides with the 1907 trade directory dropping "- Olbertz" from its listing, although the double-barrelled version of his surname was reinstated in the 1913 edition. Braham was still referred to as a photographer resident on this square when he died. An obituary notice mentioned that he had been a photographer for 50 years.
