° 4.11.1865; + 16.4.1947. Painter-decorator. KADOC (Leuven) houses a collection of more than 3000 of Bressers' glass-plate negatives. The collection contains family photographs as well as photographs documenting the activity of his family's business "Atelier Bressers", which specialised in church interiors, from monumental paintings and sculpture to furniture and liturgical objects. The archive also contains two of Bressers' notebooks, in which he meticulously documented his photographs and some of the techniques he used, including platinum and carbon printing.
