Already recorded as a photographer living in Gooik at the occasion of his wedding to Cesarina Adelina Evenepoel (° Strijtem, 18.5.1888; + Enghien, 20.2.1953) in Strijtem on 29.7.1909. Bultreys then moved to Sint-Kwintens-Lennik on 11.8.1909, where he was recorded as a photographer domiciled at Vondelstraat, 38a at the birth of a daughter on 1.5.1910. Subsequently, a stillborn daughter was registered in Gooik in July 1911 and another daughter was born there in March 1913. By 1920, Bultreys was living in Enghien, where he would operate as a photographer during the interwar years. Several of his children would also become photographers.
