Marie Léon Buret de Longagne, ° 17.8.1837. Civil engineer. Married in England in 1861 and recorded as a civil engineer domiciled in Liège at the birth of a daughter there in January 1862. Formerly assistant in a chemical laboratory. Portraits, groups, copy printing, portraits on horseback. Patent of 1.3.1863 for "a photographic press with mobile diaphragms" [printing frame]. Listed at this address in the 1863 directory only. Child born in Maastricht [NL] in 1868.
1875 - 1877 Bruxelles
Possibly no longer operating as a photographer. Member of the ABP from 10.8.1875 ("Buret de Longagne, engineer"). Took out a patent relating to steam boilers in 1875.
