Printer-publisher of picture postcards of Ieper and surroundings. Bruno Hilonius Callewaert (° Izegem, 29.1.1860; + Ieper, 24.10.1911) married Maria Josephina De Meulenaere (° Dadizele, 30.11.1868) in Ieper on 30.4.1890. Callewaert had taken over the printing firm "Vander Ghinste" in Ieper on 15.4.1890 and thus also became the printer of "Het Nieuwsblad van Yper" that had been in circulation since 1865. The firm Callewaert - De Meulenaere kept its name after the death of its founder in 1911. An advertisement in 1913 mentions that they employed their own photographer to produce photographs (on demand) for their postcards (Het Ypersche Volk, 26.4.1913).
