Lawyer and industrialist Daniel Campion (° Vilvorde, 25.7.1868; + Spa, 10.8.1939) in partnership with industrialist "Léon" Jules Gustave Delacre (° Brussels, 21.10.1864). Both men lived in Vilvorde at the time and Daniel Campion was the son of Ferdinand Campion (see that name). Patent of 31.12.1891 [Brussels, no street indicated] for "a hand-held photographic camera known as 'Elem'"; patent of 15.4.1891 [Campion alone] for "a walking-stick which can be transformed into a support for various kinds of apparatus such as photographic cameras, etc."; patent of 31.3.1893 for "a hand-held "extra-rapid" photographic camera" [reflex camera].
