Piano maker. Voyages to Oceania in 1880. His plates suffered much damage due to the climatic conditions. He translated from German two works by J.M. Eder "Théorie et pratique du procédé au gélatino-bromide d’argent", Paris, 1883 (jointly with Hector Colard), and "La photographie instantanée", Paris, 1888. Secretary-General of the ABP from 1887 until 1890. Vice-president of the Brussels section from 1880 until 1891. He died during an excursion.
