° 27.11.1847. Supplies for photographers. Widow of Alfred Florentin Joseph Carlier (° Tournai, 9.5.1851; + Tournai, 7.6.1890), a supplier of chemicals at no. 16, "A l'Éléphant". Following the death of her husband, she took over running of the chemicals shop and then expanded into photographic supplies. At some point she transferred the photographic supplies department of her chemicals business over to her son Alfred Carlier (see that name) at his recently opened outlet in Rue du Curé Notre-Dame, 12.; initial "A." at Rue du Bourbon Saint-Jacques, 20 in the 1902 Mendel directory. Still listed at this address in the 1914 Mertens & Rozez directory.
