Short-lived partnership between Jules François Maurice Cèbe (° Bordeaux [F], 22.9.1834) and Charles Nicolas Joliet (° Paris [F], 21.1.1835; + Nanterre [Hauts-de-Seine, F], 18.7.1896). Joliet arrived at this address on 26.7.1862 and was recorded as a draughtsman in the population register; he left for Marché aux Herbes, 73 on 18.10.1862. Cèbe arrived here on 12.8.1862 and was recorded as a tradesman. Subsequently he was recorded as a photographer domiciled in Amiens [F], Passage de la Renaissance, 8 at the occasion of his wedding there on 5.12.1863. Next he was recorded as a photographer domiciled in Douai [F], Sur le Barlet, 17 in December 1864 and as a photographer domiciled in Amiens [F], Rue du Porte Paris, 31 in September 1866. He formed a partnership with Prosper Courleux (° Bazancourt [Marne, F], 17.4.1827; + Abbeville [Somme, F], 18.9.1874) at those latter two addresses. Later CVs from Douai feature only Cèbe's name. He moved his studio to Douai [F], Rue Clocher Saint-Pierre, 30 in the 1870s.
