"Cercle artistique, littéraire & scientifique d'Anvers" scientific department, photography section. See "Association des Photographes d'Anvers". In 1896-1899, secretary, Stanislas Goubau. In 1903-1911, president: Hippolyte Wouwermans; secretary: Jacques Van Berkestyn. In 1911, treasurer: De Winter. 32 members in 1904. The photography section held an exhibition of photography and stereoscopy in conjunction with the Antwerp section of the ABP, 12-19.3.1905. At the section's silver jubilee banquet, "Mr Wouwermans recalled the section's foundation ...as well as all the activities that have marked the last twenty-five years: projection evenings, exhibitions, lectures, 'bric-à-brac' evenings, etc." (Le Matin, 26.2.1911).
