Martial Charles Constant, ° 15.4.1880. Member of the "Cercle d'Art photographique L'Effort" in 1903. Member of the "Club d'amateurs photographes de Belgique"; president at some point. Autochromist. "The effects of sun in woodland have been produced with an astonishing exactitude and, I say, poetry" (L'Indépendance Belge, 2.4.1911). Gave a lecture and demonstration of the Paget colour process jointly with F. Vander Elst at the "Club d'amateurs photographes de Belgique" in Brussels on 17.3.1914. The process had been patented in 1913. Co-president of the Cercle d'Art Photographique in 1922.
