Gustave Adolphe, ° 25.3.1830. On the occasion of his wedding in Brussels on 28.7.1879 to the seamstress Amélie Ruelle (° Ecaussines-Lalaing, 10.3.1848), Choppinet was recorded as a photographer resident at Petite Rue des Bouchers, 27, previously in Brussels - Saint-Gilles, the commune of his future bride. One of the witnesses was fellow photographer Edouard Grégoire (see that name).
1891 - 1912 Bruxelles - Saint-Gilles, Rue Coenraets, 35
Coexisted at this address with the Ruelle Soeurs studio (see that name). Author of most of the interior views published in collotype in the portfolio "Intérieurs & mobiliers anciens. Collection recueillie en Belgique", Brussels, P. Wytsman, 1898-1900.
